On February 20-21 in Riga hosted one of the biggest Business Events in Baltics, a conference which celebrates the best of the Baltic startup community by annually bringing together more than 2300 like-minded individuals driving the innovation, from more than 40 countries , including the fastest-growing startups, most innovative and ground-breaking corporations talented tech enthusiasts, and influential investors from in the region, such as us , Venture Faculty ! This year’s the theme was the Big Shift, which focused on the changes driven by quick developments in Greentech, Blockchain,and 5G technologies. The conference’s speakers included representatives from world-famous brands like Cloud9, Interstellar Labs, Rotten Tomatoes, IBM Accelerator and many others.
The conference featured more than 90 speakers and 15 side events, as well as some legendary afterparties, while still maintaining a relaxed atmosphere and its signature size that raises connection-building. TechChill is an example of incredible organizational skills and creating a lot more than just a place for startups to gather and meet investors. Every year TechChill has developed and improved while bringing more attention to the innovative minds of Baltics and boosting the growth of fintech industry.
TechChill, as always, was a remarkable opportunity for networking, individual meetings, and deal-making in the Baltics, Nordics and Central Eastern Europe. Venture Faculty founders truly valued the time spent in the event - Renat Lokomet got to meet future partners- international tech-enthusiasts and globally recognized experts for cooperation and expand our network of connections. Igor Bass enjoyed hearing pitches at the “50 founder battle” and Zeev Strutsovski enjoyed being part of Startup Wise Guys events, bootcamp, and the networking event on Friday. This event presented once again, the potential for start-ups in Latvia which makes Venture Faculty even more proud to be part of Latvian startup ecosystem and eager to move forward, expand, and help fintech start-ups to grow, and hopefully see Venture Faculty start-ups in TechChill 2021!
